Lupos Home

Maxine and Dom Lupo have opened
their beautiful home which was completely
destroyed in the 2003 Cedar Fire. Their
wonderful dog, “Binky,” alerted them to the
approaching flames; and they were able to
escape the fire before the entire home burned
to the ground. Original house plans were
located, and the home was rebuilt exactly as
it had been prior to the fire. Both Maxine and
Dom are special people. Dom is a watercolor
artist. He illustrated for many years for Golf
Magazine
and Golf Digest, and he also did
the original paintings for entries of members
to the “World Golf Hall of Fame.” Dom’s
upstairs studio is a must to view. Maxine
published two books including How to Master
the Game of Golf.  As you step down into the
great room, enjoy the fantastic views of the
surrounding mountains and countryside.
Their entire home highlights Dom’s paintings
plus other handsome works of art woven in
throughout their lovely, warm, comfortable,
and creative home.

Quisenberry Home

Sharon and Clark Quisenberry’s home is
“Contemporary Personified.” Their talent for
blending soft colors of beige, gray, black, and
cream–along with muted red, orange, or blue
emphasize and complete a room. They have
designed a unique pattern of tile work flooring
throughout this exquisite home. Splashes
of artistic abstract wall pieces blend in with
tables designed from antique brass trays, plus
a camel horn and bell which Sharon brought
back from Turkey, all complement their
magnificent family room. The family room is
enriched with an enormous rock fireplace and
adjoining it is a state-of-the art kitchen with
soft-green granite counter tops, all of which
complete the essence of this perfectly designed
and decorated home.

Linda and Jack Knowles’ custom-designed
home was constructed on a huge granite
boulder. The entire home is energy efficient
and “state of the art” throughout. The outside
views surrounding this home are captivating.
The minute you enter this exquisite home
you will think an eminence of “what fantastic
antiques!” Linda has made collecting antiques
her career. A 1920’s baby grand Gulbransen
piano enhances the entire interior of the
beautiful living room and is the gateway to
many surprises throughout this lovely home.
In the dining room, you’ll see a
terrific view which overlooks the golf course.
While there, look for Linda and Jack’s
collection of Depression Caprice-Blue Crystal.
